The major tip I have is the power of direct deposit. The less money in your wallet or purse, the less you think you need!
I recently enjoyed(!) a wonderful 6-week (6 session) workshop, Prosperity in Action, at Unity Church of the Hills in Austin .
The single and most practical take-away is to keep a journal of every expense made every day…and the emotions that accompany or result from the day’s expenditures.
A real eye-opener. And now I’m never without a little notebook. I’ve even learned to step away from the cashier before entering the amount…and avoid upsetting those in line behind me.
Effective use of credit cards is the key for good financial management.
